Modena Motor Gallery will celebrate 120 years since the birth of Enzo Ferrari with a Special Show leading you through the discovery of Drake’s life.
In a darkened space of 500 square metres, original photographs will be on display from the Panini Archive: images never displayed before now that depict the life of Enzo Ferrari. What’s more, on large monitors, interviews will be screened with figures who played a key role in the history of the Ferrari man – contributions made available by the Archivio Fondazione Casa Enzo Ferrari. And in the thematic area, a life-size hologram will be projected, portraying Enzo Ferrari in one of his last interviews.
The heart of the exhibition, for one day only, will be a single car of great charm: the Ferrari 195/212 Inter Vignale, 1951, the sole exemplar in the world from the private collection of Umberto Camellini. On the second day, in a highly involving scenario, the car produced by Auto Avio Costruzioni belonging to Enzo Ferrari: the sports car known as the 815, characterised by its touring bodywork, with a 1.5 litre inline-eight engine. The car is currently closely guarded in the Righini collection in Modena. Apart from the uniqueness of the vehicle and its priceless value, it marks the passage of Enzo Ferrari from being a collaborator at Alfa Romeo to becoming a carmaker himself.

Modena Motor Gallery, at its sixth edition, will host the enthralling story of Carlo Abarth: a synonym of performance, great sporting moments and cars that made their mark in history.
There could be no better place than Modena, with its long motoring history, where the first sports cars were conceived and where they first raced around the historic track, making it the perfect place to display the story and the cars of Carlo Abarth.
In Sector C of ModenaFiere, the exhibition will unfold in the display of selected cars, alongside the tale of the man who created them, through stories and anecdotes, such as the diet of apples that he adopted in order to break the acceleration record.
As well as the display, it will also be possible to witness the rally of Abarth 112s and the presentation of the book “Non ti guiderò mai” written by Antonio Tomaini and Davide Cironi.
You can also admire the splendid Abarth 750 Alemanno Spider, kindly granted by Auto Classic srl!
A great novelty in the 2018 edition is provided by the project ‘Radici del futuro’ (‘Roots of the Future’): an area dedicated entirely to the historical and technological evolution of the electric vehicle from 1832 up to the present day. The Modena Motor Gallery event has always wanted to remember the importance of the past, of memory and above all of the link between the Emilia Romagna region and the world of motoring.
This year, the narrative of the motoring evolution spreads into the electric world right from its genesis.

It’s also thanks to their intuitions and their skill that the Modenese Motor Valley has acquired ever more prestige and has become one of the points of excellence of the territory.
Through their great savoir faire, the classic cars and motorcycles may be given the sheen and youthful spirit of yesteryear. This is why they have a place of such importance, and the craftsmen are always given a large space inside the car dealers Sector.

Great importance will be given to the craftsmen, who here at Modena Motor Gallery have always played a leading role. This year, with the collaboration of the UNIMORE university and various crafts associations, the first edition of the training course for young coachbuilders will be presented. The ‘Enzo Ferrari’ Department of Engineering of the University of Modena & Reggio Emilia (DIEF UNIMORE) is behind a course on the restoration of the bodywork of historic vehicles, aimed at young school leavers and workers, for the awarding of the title of ‘Coachbuilding and Repairs Operator’.
